Price: £8500.00 – Reduced to £7500.00 £5995 . – SOLD Description: The Maxi 77 was designed by Pelle Peterson in 1972 and had a production rum of 11 years during which time 3900 were built. ZIGZAG is very stiff due to the bulb on the base of the keel. She is very light on the helm and she is dry in rough weather because of the concave chine which runs all round the boat on the water line. Reefing is very easy because Kemps made a very good job of the sails, the genoe has foam luff and all mainsail slides stay in the track when reefing. The sailcloth is “squarenet” a weave which gives more stability to the cloth. She motors comfortably at about 5 knots with a maximum speed of 7.5 knots. ZIGZAG is in excellent condition and is very clean and well equipped for coastal and North Sea sailing and we recommend viewing at the earliest opportunity. Gallery
